Hear ye, hear ye. All perverts, couch potatoes, inmates and the rest of y’all, we here at XXL would like to bestow upon you, Ms. Eboni Jackson, our 2003 Eye Candy of The Year.
After assisting 50 Cent in his very first video, “Wanksta,” the Hershey kiss went on to help Chingy jump-start his career in major fashion with“Right Thurr,” before jumping back on the 50 scene with “P.I.M.P.” and “Stunt 101.” Now the 21-year-old is ready to spread her self beyond music visuals, as she’ll be one of the hosts on the MTV program Burned. Ever seen Hot Chocolate get interviewed? Well, you’re about to.
XXL: What was it like finding out you’d be Eye Candy of The Year?
Oh my God! It was like, wow. I was just happy to be in there last year. That was crazy. Now, it’s like “I got Eye Candy of The Year, they really like me.”
XXL: Did you think “Right Thurr” was gonna be so big?
I didn’t know. I didn’t really care, you know what I mean? It was just really cool to go to St. Louis. It was real fun. I learned how to do the chickenhead. Yup, now I’m dancing with the big girls.
XXL: Tell me how it was being on the set during “Right Thurr’s” X-rated scenes.
Oh my God! That was wild! I heard that they were gonna do an uncut and a regular version. So then all of a sudden these three girls come out in thongs and they just started doing all sorts of crazy stuff. You didn’t even get to see half the stuff they did.
XXL: What did we miss?
I can’t even describe it. It was crazy. They just did what they do.
XXL: Would you ever consider doing something like that?
Oh no. I don’t knock anybody else for what they do, but me personally, I don’t feel comfortable doing something like that. Sexy on the camera I’m more [into].
XXL: What about if your man was into strippers, would you do it for him?
Ha ha ha! To be honest, if I really loved him and that was my baby, I probably would.
XXL: You lost some weight, how much did you actually lose?
I think I lost maybe 10 pounds at the most. I was 135, now I’m like 125. It was more so that I wanted to get toned. I didn’t like the way that everything was proportioning out.
XXL: In your first Eye Candy piece, you said you didn’t think you were sexy. How do you feel now?
I’m starting to accept it, but I still don’t all the way see it. Sometimes I think I look nice, and occasionally when somebody’ll say “You look nice,” I’m like, “Shut up. Yeah right.”
XXL: Are you insecure at all about your body?
Sometimes I wish I had a bigger chest if it doesn’t fill out the shirt. But then sometimes I wish I had a smaller chest when you wanna wear the little itty bitty. [I wanna] get some blow-up tits. Blow ’em up and blow ’em down (laughs). I’m happy with who I am, and if that’s flat-chested—that’s me. If I can’t change it, I gotta deal with it.
