Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V is shaping up to be the biggest rap release of 2014.

After Drake revealed May 5 would be the release date, there have been ongoing rumors that the fifth installment of Tha Carter series would be his last. Speaking with MTV News in Los Angeles, Wayne confirmed that his forthcoming LP is going to mean he’s officially done with making studio projects.

But that doesn’t mean Wayne is quitting music altogether. Weezy promises he’ll still contribute guest verses to any pending projects from his camp. Still, if we are to ever get another album form him, he wants $25 to $35 million. Get your checkbook out.
