Jay-Z and Beyoncé let their love light the way—and set social media ablaze—this weekend with the release of Everything Is Love, their first full-length collaborative project (as The Carters). The quickly acclaimed album, which was released without any prior marketing or promotion, comes in the midst of the power couple's OTR II Tour, adding fresh excitement to their live dates.

First joining forces on the 2002 duet "'03 Bonnie & Clyde," Jay-Z and Beyoncé have consistently collaborated as their initial romance led to marriage and then parenthood. From "Déjà Vu" to "Drunk in Love," their duets have been dope—so dope that fans have been craving a joint project since rumors of its recording started sprouting in 2014. Jay-Z confirmed the sessions in an interview with The New York Times last year.

"We started making music together," Hov said of recording with his megastar wife. "The music she was making at that time was further along. So her album came out as opposed to the joint album that we were working on. Um, we still have a lot of that music."

Now, the world has that music, too. Everything Is Love is a true best-of-both-worlds project that completes The Carters' trilogy of love, heartache, reconciliation and continued #relationshipgoals that is previously explored in Beyonce's Lemonade and Jay-Z's 4:44. Pharrell Williams, Mike Dean, Cool & Dre and Boi-1da, among others, chip in beats, while Quavo and Offset provide additional vocals on "Apeshit."

With Everything Is Love playing on repeat, XXL compiled 20 of the best lyrics from the album that prove that Hov and Bey remain rap royalty.
