Hoodrich Pablo Juan is bringing the heat this month. The rapper has unveiled the official release date for his and Danny Wolf's joint mixtape HoodWolf 2.

The "We Don't Luv Em" rapper announced in a tweet that the project will drop on Friday (July 20). That's nearly a year after the first installment in Pablo Juan and Wolf's mixtape series entered the world in May 2017.

The Atlanta native rose fast since the original tape dropped. Last August, Hoodrich signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 Eskimo Records, joining a roster featuring the likes of Lil WopRalo and, more recently, Asian Doll. He dropped "Yeah Yeah" with Gucci and Yung Mal in March.

Neither a tracklist nor production credits for the project have been released. While Danny was behind the boards for every song on Hood Wolf, a handful of other producers, including Ronny J, also contributed production. The duo last linked in January on the song "Takedown."

Wolf recounted the origins of his relationship with Hoodrich in an interview last year with XXL. The Mexico City-born beatsmith started out as an intern for the Atlanta DJ collective Hoodrich Entertainament. He was in the studio when he first met the rapper.

"Pablo came busting through the door—you know, Pablo’s Pablo—and I was like, 'I like your energy. That’s what I want on my music,'" Wolf said. "He told me to load up a beat and I did and he just went in and made stuff for his first Designer Drugz, his first mixtape. And then he made the song 'J Money.' And I remember I called my manager like, 'Sign this guy, he’s going to blow!'"
