Mozzy Unveils ‘Gangland Landlord’ Album Tracklist

The tracklist for Mozzy's forthcoming new album has arrived. Today (Sept. 13), the rapper used his Instagram account to unveil the names and features for his new Gangland Landlord LP, which is expected to drop on Oct. 5.

"This where shit gets SPOOKYGangland Landlord Available For PreOrder Now!!! Mandatory Snatch Appreciate ery body involved wit this project," Mozzy wrote in the caption for his Instagram post along with the tracklist.

Checking in at 18 songs, Gangland Landlord includes features from ScHoolboy Q, YG, Ty Dolla $ign, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, YFN Lucci, Trae Tha Truth, Yhung T.O., Blac Youngsta, Yo Gotti and more. Needless to say, that's a lot of guest appearances.

In a related note, Mozzy also unloaded a new visual for "Thugz Mansion," which is his Ty Dolla $ign and YG-assisted track from his new LP. The track itself is a reimagined version of Tupac Shakur's Anthony Hamilton-assisted track, "Thugz Mansion." The video finds Mozzy and company gathering at what appears to be the Thugz Mansion 'Pac originally rapped about. Fittingly, the video was released today, which is the 22nd anniversary of Tupac's death. Demetrius Shipp, Jr., who played the role of 'Pac in the Tupac biopic, All Eyez on Me, cameos in the visual.

Ty Dolla $ign handles the hook for the track, which is the same as the one Hamilton used for the original Makaveli song.

"Ain’t no place I'd rather be (rather be)/Get it all for the family (woah)/Sky-high, iced out paradise (way, way up)/In the sky (sky, woah)/Ain't no place I'd rather be (rather be)/With the bros right next to me (woah)/Chromed out mansion in paradise/In the sky," Ty sings on the hook.

For his part, Mozzy delivers some emotional bars about the struggle. "Gangland, I’m in love with the dealing/Barely clinging to life as he suffer severely/You could love me or fear me, you gotta feel me/I don’t wanna past from love, you better kill me," Mozzy spits on the track.

Known for his grimy, street-oriented tracks and gang ties, Mozzy has carved out a nice space for himself in the heart of West Coast rap. His new LP should continue what has been a strong run for the rapper.

Gangland Landlord will be Mozzy's first album since last year's 1 Up Top Ahk album. It will be his first project since his Spiritual Conversations EP, which he dropped six months ago.
